We are a small group of local residents who are passionate about maintaining our great local park.
Mission
The Mayfair Park Advisory Council is a volunteer, community-based organization that provides an opportunity for all individuals and groups in the community to participate in Mayfair Park's present and future status. As such, we are committed to bringing people of diverse backgrounds and opinions together in an atmosphere that fosters cooperation and communication.
Our Purpose
Promote ways for the community to better utilize the Chicago Park District’s programs and facilities at Mayfair Park.
Provide communication to the Chicago Park District on matters relating to Mayfair Park community, and all patrons of Mayfair Park.
To increase community cooperation and awareness by involving all segments of the Mayfair Park community, and all patrons of Mayfair Park in the planning and implementation of MPAC and/or Chicago Park District projects.
To sponsor major events yearly for the purpose of involving all segments of the community.
To provide the community with a vehicle through which information regarding Mayfair Park can be shared.
To assist in locating alternate funding sources to enhance the facilities at Mayfair Park for all patrons.
