About the Event
This is an interactive, community-oriented performance for all ages developed in collaboration with youth in Chicago’s foster care system, particularly through Lydia Home. The project centers on representation and awareness, giving foster youth the opportunity to see their experiences reflected through story while engaging the broader community. The performance also partners with local foster care organizations to host community engagement tables focused on volunteering, mentorship, and support.
The production premiered with eight public performances at Filament Theatre during Foster Care Awareness Month in May 2025 and later toured to Milwaukee.
